10-10-2010: 27th edition of Marathon Eindhoven

Marathon Eindhoven is one of the most exciting races in Europe. With more than 17.000 participants, over 150.000 spectators and music at 50 locations along the course, a great atmosphere is guaranteed.

Our event offers the opportunity to participate in the marathon, half marathon, marathon relay (teams of 4), the 6km City Run and the 3km MiniMarathon.

Eindhoven is only a 1 hour flight from London, Berlin and Paris. The city is situated in the south of Holland and only a 1,5 hour drive from Amsterdam, Brussels and Dusseldorf.

Our course is flat and fast: in 2009 Geoffrey Mutai (KEN) set a new course record of 2.07.01, 8 other athletes finished within 2.10.00 and 34 athletes ran sub 2.30.00!

Marathon weekend

Our partner Holliday Inn offers great rates for a weekend stay in Eindhoven. If you want to bring your camper or caravan: Marathon Eindhoven has a special campsite from Friday October 8 till Sunday October 10 in the centre of Eindhoven.

For those spending the weekend, come and run the Lunch Run on Saturday October 9 at 11.00 hrs. The Lunch Run is an easy run over 5km through the Eindhoven city centre. The run starts at the Runners Expo and finishes at ‘Simply Bread', for a free lunch.
